I think the workflow is alright, but it's far from what a chief of staff does. I wish you could give it a more appropriate name. What you are describing is an EA's job at best. This is the reason why so many people think that COS is an admin assistant role.

What happens to things that don't happen on a day to day? Longer term projects that need follow up? Does Claudia remind you of things in advance?

That’s a great point, for me this is what works; it helps me focus on my day and keep top priorities top of mind, helps reduce the friction of where I should spend my time since it understands the context between my inbox and my calendar.

It works very well for me but can respectfully understand where it wouldn’t for everyone!

I read this as “The person who ruins your day” and I thought… why would I want to ruin my own day? THEN I thought… well if SOMEONE OR SOMETHING is going to ruin my day, I’d rather I do it myself than hand the task over, so bring it on. Then I re-read the title correctly.

Yes! Saved this post because (fingers crossed) more work is coming my way and I want to be on top of it!

Very practical and easy to follow, thank you!

This is such a good idea.

I recently took a stab at a similar concept in ChatGPT with a similar workflow to this. I use Telegram for "capturing" items that pop up during the day and am looking for a way to connect those notes to Chat or vice versa. Reduces the overload of having to remember everything.

Curious to see how these tools will evolve.
