Excellent piece, so many great points in here. I recently read something Kurt Vonnegut wrote about how “friction” and inconvenience actually make life interesting and meaningful. I’ve been leaning into that mindset, embracing and expanding the small human interactions we have every day with strangers. It’s like going back to the 90’s for 5 seconds 😆

Yes I couldn’t agree more! I also have antifragile on my list. I think we have become over programmed to remove friction from our lives and our kids lives. It’s not healthy for anyone in the long term. I also go back to Nicholas Eplieys teachings on being awkward by smiling and saying hi to strangers. I have been testing it out this week - it’s been a fun one too.
